At Abbot Beyne School, staff and students are celebrating another exceptional year of A level results, with a record number of students securing their first choice university places and Post-18 pathways. These fantastic outcomes across a wide variety of subjects are a clear testament to the dedication, resilience and hard work demonstrated by our students and staff over the past two years.
We are particularly proud to celebrate the individual achievements of the following students:
- Evie W – A in Mathematics, A in Biology, A in Chemistry – heading to the University of Birmingham to study Medicine.
- Shenie O – A* in Psychology, A* in English Literature, B in History – heading to the University of Durham to study Law.
- Cyprian– A* in Physics, A in Mathematics, B in Chemistry – heading to the University of Leeds to study [Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering (Industrial)
- Cora R – A* in Sociology, B in History, B in English Literature – heading to the University of Edinburgh to study English Literature.

I am immensely proud of the hard work, ambition, and commitment shown by both our students and staff at Abbot Beyne School. We are overjoyed that this effort has paid off with outstanding outcomes and the vast majority of our students secured their top-choice university destinations.
Our Sixth Form continues to go from strength to strength. Building on our record cohort last year, we are anticipating a further 25% growth in our Year 12 intake this coming September. Over summer we completed a purpose-built study space for the expected increase in numbers. It is a privilege to see our Sixth Form community flourish, proving that our students receive both the academic rigor and personalised support needed to achieve their absolute best.
Destinations
We are very proud of our students’ achievements and destinations. The majority of our students who wished to progress to university gained places at one of their chosen institutions, including the very best universities and the most challenging courses. Other students progressed successfully into apprenticeships or work with training.
